Head to the AAO Innovation Pavilion for cutting-edge technologies and products

Located by the AAO Pavilion in the exhibit hall, the Innovation Pavilion is the interactive and collaborative environment where you not only learn about — but contribute to — the specialty’s most exciting new solutions.

Making its debut at the 2022 Annual Session, the Innovation Pavilion was a center of dynamic activity and exchange of ideas throughout the meeting. The International Association of Exhibits and Events gave the AAO Innovation Pavilion its 2022 Innovative Business Solution Award.

Visit the 2023 Innovation Pavilion to meet exhibitors representing start-up companies and to:

• Vote in the first-ever New Products Showcase Award competition. You be the judge of the best new product on the show floor. Start at the Innovation Pavilion and see the entries on the show floor. Cast your vote on the iPad in the Innovation Pavilion or from your mobile phone via the QR code available on page 8 of the on-site program from Saturday through noon Monday. The winner will be announced in Theatre 2 on Monday at 2 p.m.

• Demo AAO TechSelect, a comprehensive, unbiased learning and money-saving, AAO member-exclusive online resource that will help you learn about, compare and receive best pricing on equipment needed for in-house retainers and aligners, digital indirect bonding, remote monitoring and automation. In addition, TechSelect LIVE! returns this year with panel discussions with members of the AAO Committee on Technology (CTECH) and other experts.

• Visit Theatre 2 for TechSelect LIVE! programs: “In-House Aligners” (11:30 a.m. Saturday), “Digital Indirect Bonding and Custom Bracket Systems” (11:30 a.m. Sunday) and “Remote Monitoring” (11:30 a.m. Monday)

• 2023 Ortho Innovator Award Presentation with recipient Dr. Cosmo Haralambidis for the Dental Pain Eraser at 1 p.m. Saturday

• OrthoTank, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Be part of the audience as entrepreneurs pitch their businesses to potential investors as they try to secure a capital investment during “OrthoTank.” Hosted by Dr. Trista Felty, with a format inspired by the popular ABC show, “Shark Tank,” Ortho Tank presentations will be judged by investors who may elect to work with presenters.
