LEIPZIG, Germany: Immediate implantation is the topic of the latest webinar, to be presented by the Dental Tribune Study Club on 8 March. According to speaker Dr Armin Nedjat, the best time for implantation is right after extraction because the soft and hard tissue can be preserved. During his presentation, Nedjat will introduce participants to a minimally invasive immediate implantation concept with socket preservation.
In this webinar, Nedjat will discuss when and under which conditions an implant can even be placed in infected areas. After administration of anaesthetic, the patient receives an implant within just a few minutes. Instead of discarding the extracted tooth, it is turned into an autologous bone graft chairside by means of the Smart Grinder and the alveolus is filled with the graft. Within about three to four months, the graft becomes solid, stable bone because it contains all of the requisite growth factors.
The webinar, titled “MIMI-Flapless in Perfection: Immediate Implantations with the (R)Evolution White (Metall-Free pZircono Implant) and Smart Grinder (Autologous Bone Graft from Extracted Teeth)—the Big Chance!”, is free of charge and will be broadcast online on 8 March from 11 a.m. EST. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic discussed.
Registration is now open on the DT Study Club website.
