Dykema’s 10th Annual Definitive Conference for Dental Service Organizations is returning to Aurora, Colo., and to the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center for the annual event that promises attendees numerous opportunities to learn about current best practices and insights that are relevant to the industry.

The award-winning conference, taking place from July 19 to 21, is considered one of the best networking events each year, attracting more than 1,500 DSO leaders, dental practitioners and vendors. Each year, this immersive conference offers topics carefully selected to appeal to all facets of the DSO industry, including buyers, sellers, practice owners, executives, entrepreneurs, investors, DSOs and in-house counsel.

One of the highlights of this year’s event is an interview with Andre Agassi, the former No. 1 ranked tennis player and multi Grand Slam champion as well as an author, philanthropist and education advocate.

Agassi will take the stage at 10 a.m. on July 21. Stick around afterward to get your photo with the tennis legend.

Another highlight of the meeting comes on at 9:45 a.m. July 20 with the state of the industry discussion with Steve Thorne, the founder and CEO of Pacific Dental Services, one of the nation’s leading dental support organizations.

Thorne established his company in 1994 in Irvine, Calif. and has grown it to include more than 850 dental practices across 20 states.

He recently donated $4 million to the University of the Pacific to build a new clinical and academic facility on the campus’ Sacramento location, which will serve as an innovative teaching and patient care facility.

Other highlights at this year’s event include numerous breakout sessions covering all aspects of DSOs — you can learn about how to grow your DSO, get answers to the questions you have about the legal aspects of your DSO and learn about DSO lending as well as navigate HR compliance.

For those needing to earn continuing education credits, the conference has you covered. Most of the content will be available via CE Zoom, an all-inclusive education management system. There will also be a CE Zoom representative on site during the conference to help you with any questions you might have.

In addition to all the learning opportunities, there are also multiple social events planned. On July 19, to kick things off there is a champagne welcome from 3 to 6 p.m. and then a dinner and reception under the stars from 7 to 10 p.m.

July 20 will feature a drone show beginning at 9 p.m. and then a little “Heaven Is a Place on Earth” as musician Belinda Carlisle takes the stage for a two-hour concert.

In addition, on July 21, you can get professional headshots from 8 a.m. to noon.
