DARMSTADT, Germany/NEW YORK, US: Exocad, a leading dental CAD/CAM software provider, has announced its participation at the 99th annual Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM), taking place on 26–29 November. In New York, the company will be showcasing its latest dental software and presenting its first CBCT equipment display at Booth 2003.

“Through our hands-on sessions and application specialist demonstrations, we’ve put together an exciting programme that highlights how exocad’s software solutions blend into a full digital workflow,” said Larry Bodony, president of exocad America. “Attendees can see how their equipment of choice fits seamlessly with exocad’s DentalCAD, ChairsideCAD, and exoplan software,” he added.

The company will also host two live educational sessions to support the GNYDM’s 3D printing and digital dentistry conference. The sessions, co-sponsored by iTero and Cefla North America, will take place on the exhibition floor, and participants will earn three continuing education credits per course.

A hands-on educational session to be hosted by Dr Tarun Agarwal will address the topic of implant planning and diagnostics using a digital workflow. Participants will experience the power of an integrated workflow to realise clinical treatment planning needs. Dr Agarwal will demonstrate how to combine exocad’s powerful implant planning and surgical guide design software with NewTom's CBCT scanners to experience 2D and 3D imaging that delivers clear diagnostic capabilities, strong efficiency and enhanced precision for better clinical outcomes.

A second live educational session, to be delivered by Dr Steven Glassman, will demonstrate end-to-end digital workflows and how to bring same-day dentistry to dental practices and patients. Dr Glassman will show how an end-to-end restorative workflow facilitates effective chairside education and predictable results and how digital scanning can help to drive treatment acceptance and improve chairside care. The hands-on workshop, featuring iTero Element scanners and exocad’s ChairsideCAD software, will detail the workflow from patient scan to final restoration.
