SureSmile digital orthodontics delivers a comprehensive, integrated solution designed to support diagnostic precision, workflow efficiency and predictable treatment plans across a wide range of orthodontic case types. Backed by more than 30 years of orthodontic innovation from Dentsply Sirona, SureSmile combines advanced planning software, versatile appliance options and expert clinical support within a single digital ecosystem.

Advanced diagnostics and visualization

SureSmile integrates with most scanners, CBCT systems and brackets, enabling digital records to be incorporated into virtual simulations for orthodontic, surgical, restorative and interdisciplinary cases. Clinicians can evaluate treatment scenarios before appliance delivery, improving confidence and predictability. Optional collaboration with the SureSmile digital lab provides expert planning support while preserving practice control.

Unified planning and digital treatment options

Three software solutions — SureSmile Aligner, Ortho and Advanced — share a common diagnostic foundation to support aligner, fixed appliance, hybrid and interdisciplinary treatment planning. These tools integrate with in-office fabrication workflows and are complemented by robotically bent labial and lingual wires, digital indirect bonding (IDB) trays, clear aligners, custom retainers and the SureSmile VPro vibration device — providing an efficient way to tailor treatment according to each patient’s needs.

Clinical proof points — data‑backed advantages

  • Treatment time: In a retrospective study, SureSmile robotically bent wires reduced treatment duration by up to 30 percent compared to conventional fixed orthodontic therapy.¹
  • Refinements: 75 percent of SureSmile aligner patients required one or no refinements.²
  • Attachments: In a recent study, SureSmile treatment plans required 40 percent fewer attachments compared to Invisalign.³
