LONDON, England: After years of hosting leading aligner events across Europe, the European Aligner Society (EAS) will hold its first forum in North America this summer. The event will take place on 29 and 30 August at the Westin hotel in Seattle in the US. It marks a notable expansion for EAS, which has built a strong reputation in Europe for fostering clinical education and innovation in aligner therapy.
Centred on the theme “Bridging Industry and Clinical Excellence”, the forum is expected to bring together clinicians, researchers and representatives from across the orthodontic and dental technology industries. By creating space for dialogue between practitioners, researchers and technology developers, the forum is designed to encourage cross-disciplinary exchange on the future of aligner treatment.
The Seattle event aims to offer North American dental professionals a platform for engaging with the latest developments in aligner orthodontics—including artificial intelligence, next-generation materials, 3D-printed appliances and digital workflows. Sessions will include a mix of lectures, live technology demonstrations and hands-on workshops.
The opening keynote address will focus on artificial intelligence in dentistry, setting the tone for what the organisers have described as a forward-looking programme. Evidence-based case discussions and networking opportunities will also form part of the two-day schedule. The full programme and registration details are available on the EAS website.
