The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) has opened registration for its premier event, the AAO Annual Session 2022. Ken Dillehay, DDS, MS, president of the AAO, said: “It’s been over 50 years since we have met in the beautiful city of Miami Beach. Everyone at the AAO is excited to finally gather in person in sunny South Florida starting May 21 through 24, 2022.”

Originally, the 2022 meeting was scheduled to be held in Hawaii, but in May, the state of Hawaii informed the AAO that space inside the Hawaii Convention Center would not be available to groups through the end of 2022.

A few weeks later, the AAO had secured a new location.

“We are pleased to announce that the city of Miami Beach has rolled out the red carpet and stands ready to greet AAO members,” Dillehay said at the time. “With an outstanding convention center, a rich history, a culture of hospitality and beautiful white sandy beaches, Miami Beach is sure to deliver an extraordinary meeting experience.”

The AAO has eagerly awaited the opportunity to meet in person after two all-virtual annual sessions. 2022 annual session attendees will enjoy three and a half days of one of the best orthodontic meeting experiences and education available, including the opportunity to earn 17 hours of C.E. credit, enjoy unique special events and experiences and see the industry’s most innovative updates in the Innovation Pavilion.

The 2022 Annual Session will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from May 21 to 24. To learn more, visit meetings.aaoinfo.org/annual-session-2022.
