“Creating the Ideal Implant Site”
Implant therapy is one of the most successful treatment modalities in dentistry with 10 year success often surpassing 90%. The clinical success of an implant restoration is usually dependent on restoratively driven implant placement. As such creating an ideal implant site is often the first step of implant therapy.
There are a multitude of techniques and materials available to the clinician for soft and hard tissue regeneration in the development of an implant site. This meeting will focus on the latest techniques and technologies available for creating the ideal implant site.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this symposium attendees will:
- Understand extraction socket healing
- How to preserve and rebuild the alveolar process post extraction
- How to evaluate the gingival biotype and modify it
- How provisional restorations influence gingival architecture
