CHICAGO, Ill., USA: Registration is now open for AGD 2015 San Francisco, to be held June 18 to 21 at Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco. The theme of the meeting is “A Golden Opportunity.” According to the Academy of General Dentistry, new courses this year will offer something for the entire dental team.

The keynote speaker is Terry Jones of Travelocity.com, Kayak.com and WayBlazer. According to AGD, Jones likes to share a quote from Charles Darwin about survival of the fittest. To paraphrase, he says that surviving, whether it’s in nature or the marketplace, isn’t about being the strongest or the smartest. It’s about adapting to change.

The exhibit hall will feature a wide variety of leading exhibitors who will showcase the latest products and new technology. New exhibit hours will make it easier for attendees to make time to attend the keynote session and educational courses, too, according to AGD.

Headquartered in Chicago, the AGD is a professional association of more than 38,000 general dentists dedicated to providing quality dental care and oral health education to the public. AGD members stay up to date in their profession through a commitment to continuing education.

Founded in 1952, the AGD is the second largest dental association in the United States, and it is the only association that exclusively represents the needs and interests of general dentists.
