PARIS, France: According to ACTEON, its Piezotome CUBE ultrasonic surgical device drastically improves surgery, making it safer and more predictable. At the ADF meeting, experts will be demonstrating how to apply the new standards of bone management in everyday practice by using revolutionary surgery to preserve the original anatomy, providing shorter treatment protocols for better patient acceptance.
The innovative Piezotome CUBE is intended to improve practitioners’ experience by offering revolutionary quality in bone management, according to ACTEON. Because immediate implant placement can be challenging when using rotary instruments, Piezotome CUBE offers a rotary-free protocol and alveolar ridge preservation.
This removes the risk of
- damaging the alveolar bone, because the tooth can be removed safely while leaving enough natural bone to graft and place the implant;
- piercing the Schneiderian membrane with a bur, because lateral or intra-oral sinus lifts can be performed accurately; and
- losing too much bone when widening it, because the bone can be cut gently with extreme precision.
